Triple Tap Games secures $1.2 million in pre-seed funding led by Eximius Ventures and Kalaari Capital.

Mumbai-based Triple Tap Games has raised $1.2 million in pre-seed funding to craft next-gen hybridcasual puzzle games. The studio—helmed by former Crazy Labs & Super Huge Studios veterans—is setting its sights on US and European markets, with plans to expand its team and supercharge its AI-driven content pipeline.

Powering Up with Top Investors

The funding round was led by Eximius Ventures and Kalaari Capital, alongside influential angel investors from the gaming and entertainment world. The capital will bolster rapid prototyping, data analytics, distribution, and monetization efforts.

A Team with Proven Hits

Founded in 2024 by ex-Crazy Labs India head Karan Khairajani, Triple Tap Games brings together industry heavyweights from Firescore Interactive, Games2win, Super Huge Studios, and Nukebox Studios. Their track record? 400 million+ downloads from smash hits like Soap Cutting, Acrylic Nails, and Hair Dye.

AI-Driven Innovation for “Relax & Unwind” Games

“Our vision is clear: to dominate the ‘relax and unwind’ gaming space,” said Khairajani. “With over a decade in gaming, we know what players crave. AI is our secret weapon—fueling a massive content pipeline to deliver fresh, engaging experiences.”

Investor Confidence in Triple Tap

Eximius Ventures’ Pearl Agarwal sees huge potential: “Triple Tap has a world-class team, a sharp vision, and an AI-powered edge. Karan’s success in building and exiting a global studio, along with his focus on a women-centric audience, makes this an unmissable opportunity.”

With AI innovation and seasoned leadership, Triple Tap Games is poised to redefine hybridcasual gaming—one addictive puzzle at a time.

The Shift from Hyper-Casual to Hybrid-Casual

Hyper-casual games thrived on simplicity but lacked retention and monetization depth. Post-2020, rising user acquisition costs and changing player preferences spurred a pivot. Hybrid-casual games blend easy-to-learn mechanics with engaging progression, optimizing long-term retention and revenue.

Success stories like Survivor.io ($200M+ revenue) and Stumble Guys ($100M+ revenue) prove that the model works. Yet, balancing accessibility with depth is a challenge only seasoned teams can master.

Why Triple Tap Games?

Led by Karan Khairajani, the team boasts a decade of success in gaming. At Firescore Interactive, they built hyper-casual hits (Soap Cutting, Acrylic Nails, Hair Dye) with 400M+ downloads, leading to an acquisition by Crazy Labs (6B+ downloads). Their expertise in game design, retention, and monetization positions them perfectly for hybrid-casual dominance.

The Future is Hybrid-Casual

Hyper-casual’s decline signals a need for deeper experiences. Triple Tap Games has the vision, team, and execution ability to capture this market and scale globally.
